Google Improves Voice Search

Google is embracing voice search in its mobile devices. The search engine giant has added a microphone in Android devices that will help users with voice searches. You are probably saying, yes, all phones have this feature. However, Google took it a step further making the response heard out loud, rather than a screen silently displaying results. This is a more user-friendly feature to those who are pre-occupied and cannot look down at the screen. After all, isn’t that the purpose of asking a question out loud; to receive a verbal response back?

In 2016 Google announced that 20% of mobile queries were voice searches.

With the growing number of households using Google and Alexa, this percentage is only going to increase. MILE Social is making sure that every website they build is optimized for best voice practices. If you feel your website needs updating or improved Search Engine Optimization, let’s talk!
