MILE Social is looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our team. We are a social media agency with an expanding client base. This opportunity is remote, no need to spend your time commuting. There is plenty of work to be done so an ability to work with minimal supervision is high on our wish list.

You Are:

Detail oriented
Someone who has a track record of meeting project timelines
Passionate about social media and website design
Allowed to have fun at work – this one is non-negotiable

Technical Requirements:

Required web development and WordPress experience: 3 – 5 years

Ability to design and create new websites, update and modify existing websites
Experience in HTML/CSS
Experience in PHP
Install and configure WordPress plugins
WordPress development including theme and individual template development, plugin tweaks, new feature development
Optimize responsive sites for maximum speed and scalability (SEO experience is a huge plus)
Support current websites by providing user technical support and maintenance
Review and analyze client sites for areas that need to be improved, deleted or revised
Implement, monitor and analyze WordPress sites for current SEO and user behavior trends
Experience with WordPress eCommerce plugins, especially WooCommerce

Salary range to commence with experience.

Some social media platforms enable geotargeting. For example, Instagram allows you to post your location for every photo and video you u post. This is allows users to know where you are, without having to leave your Instagram Account.

Each platform has it’s own way to target an audience. Twitter uses Hashtags and URL’s. Instagram uses Hashtags. Facebook has hundreds of options to choose from such as behaviors to choose from, location, and interests. Your account manger will go over who your target market is and any keywords that should be used and use them accordingly.
