Google has revamped their Google Business platform that will help business owners tremendously. Now when viewers look for a business on Google, they will see actual “posts” under the address and contact area. These posts can be compared to posts you’d see on other social media platforms like Facebook. Informative posts allow viewers to learn more about the business in one condensed area without clicking around. The kicker is that Google really wants businesses to stay on top of their social media game because these posts are only visible for seven days from the day they are posted. This means new information needs to be pumped out often, and there is nothing wrong with providing updated information to your potential clients! Another great feature is that events with calendar dates will remain visible until the date the event ends. They even have a Call To Action button for users to sign up!
Google is also encouraging conversation with viewers through Messaging. This awesome feature is finally rolling out to businesses in the United States. After a business page sets up messaging, the business can speak to viewers via text message. It doesn’t get any easier than that! Way to step up your game, Google!
